Orginially from Ohio, I went to the big city of New York for about 5 years (mainly for school), and now I am working towards my masters at Cambridge in England. I hope this website gives everyone a taste of what my life is like here... and if nothing else I think you will find it fun and entertaining!!

Formal Hall Exchange
So after my REALLLLLY long day and adventure in London... I came to the MCR to meet all of our guests and to make sure everyone was having a good time. Even though I was exhausted, I am so glad I made it, because I met so many awesome people... and would any formal hall / pav night be complete without a full set of photos?? Of course not!!!! SO here they are...
I don't think I have EVER seen the MCR bar so full of beer bottles... but I guess thats what happens on beer pong night!!
Anne-Sophie (she was in my course last term!!!) and her friends from Pembroke!!

Apparently Churchill got killed by Pembroke in beer pong (how embarassing!!!) so Pembroke started playing each other haha.
And then Churchill started playing other Churchillians...
Except Iga's side didn't have beer, so they substituted a swig from the flask of vodka hahahhaha.
One point for Iga's team!!
Ahhh and Iga's side now has beer.
hehe Monique taught me some cool new lingo... nice jacket from Marks and Sparks babe ;)

hehe yes yes I have my hair in braids...
Cut me some slack!!! Remember... 2 hrs of sleep... went to London at 4 am... stood in the rain and freezing for 2.5 hours... I am shocked I could even stand up!!

The American contingent... we have Philly, NY and Ohio (hehe Cleveland... 2nd best city in Ohio... 2nd to Cincinnati of course mwaaa ha ha ha).
hehe all of these exchange people were AWESOME!!!
Kayla... from NY (which explains her WONDERFUL fashion sense... LOVE the pink shirt :) )... Kayla wins the award for my favorite new person from Friday night!!! So cool to meet people on the same wavelength :)
ohhhh and more people are starting to fill the dance floor.
Andrea... another Italian... who ALSO works in Serena's lab, a.k.a. the Italian lab
Seeeeee Justin (Churchill Justin... I must specify since there was another Justin around on Friday)... I do post REALLLY bad embarassing photos of me... I am actually just really tired, I didn't even have a sip of alchol.

Meanwhile, Shoop and Monique are just chilling and talking upstairs.
And I join them to chat...
Until some really drunk guy spills a bottle of beer all over my shoulder and down my shirt and on my jacket... then I know its time to peace out.
But first I should go say goodnight to all the awesome new people I met.

Goodnight Andrea... I am still working on the Italian phrase you taught me hahaha.
We should all definitely keep in touch and get together again soon!! Good times!!
