Orginially from Ohio, I went to the big city of New York for about 5 years (mainly for school), and now I am working towards my masters at Cambridge in England. I hope this website gives everyone a taste of what my life is like here... and if nothing else I think you will find it fun and entertaining!!

Oxford J-Soc Trip!!
I spent this past weekend in Oxford with the Cambridge and Oxford J-Soc. I am so glad I went!! It was really inspirational and relaxing. I think this is the first time I ever kept shabbat completely without ever messing up hehe. My goal is to try and do it once a month :) ... at least for now. We did get a brief tour of Oxford, but it was during shabbat so no photos guys hehe... but I took some photos afterwards at Laser Quest. But basically, Oxford is a much more city-like version of Cambridge. I did get to see Christ's Church College (where parts of Harry Potter was filmed). I also really liked Oxford's equivalent of the University Library here. I am definitely going to try to go to more J-Soc events... hehe but two in one week (this and booze for jews) isn't half bad!! So below are the few photos I took... I have actually posted the full size photos since I think people might want to actually print them out... so sorry if it takes longer than normal to load.
The first daring Oxford J-Soc member to get on the bull.
He looks quite serious.
Ohhhh Hold On just a little bit longer!!
This is the chaplain at Oxford.
I think he ended up staying on for the longest.
This is Becca, the really wonderful girl that let me stay in her room.
She is also amazingly talented at not only riding a bull... but doing it in a skirt!!
I am soo impressed that Beth was able to ride the bull and be graceful!! She is really amazing!!
She makes it look so easy!!
Ohhh almost got a photo with Beth's face!! It is hard to do because the bull moves so fast!!
Cambridge girls truly do have a talent in riding the bull I think.
Yup, still holding on!!
hehe take two!!
Ori (the chaplain at Cambridge) was really good at riding the bull too!!
So maybe I should change my statement to say... everyone at Cambridge is really talented at riding mechanical bulls!!
WOW!!! Hardly anyone stayed on long enough for me to take three photos!!
Ohhhh not quite enough time for four photos.
hehe trying to beat the record...
This is Ori with his darling wife Yona and their super adorable baby!!
They are such a sweet lovely family!!
More Cambridge kids decide to give it a try.
hehehe he can even smile while riding the bull!!
This is our first shot at a group photo... although there were lots of other really awesome people that we spent the weekend with that were not at Laser Quest.
Here is our second (I think slightly better) group photo.
