The Life of Diana

On Sunday Feb 13 was the Jewish Ball, which was really nice, and totally different than the Churchill Ball. It was held at Duxford, the U.S. air force museum... so we got to party underneath the wings of air force planes. It was a really nice venue and decorated really well with cool lights. It was a much more "proper" ball, and more along the lines of what a person would normally think of when they would think of a ball. I felt a bit like Cinderella... the four course dinner (with kosher meat YAAAY)... and the dancing... but it was over at 12.30 am, and by the time the buses got us back to Cambridge it was only 1 am...

Shoop and I sat next to each other at dinner... and our dinner table had some rather unfortunate people at it :(



Sooooooooo glad Shoop was there!!! Dinner would have SUCKED without you baby!!!!



They had a really cool laser shooting images onto the ceiling... this is a flying bird I think.... but its a moving image, so kind of difficult to see in this photo perhaps.

After dinner, the Rock 'n Roll Dance Club did a routine for us.

Then the dancers taught us how to do some of their moves... and Shoop actually works in lab with one of the dancers... so here she is learning the dance.
