Orginially from Ohio, I went to the big city of New York for about 5 years (mainly for school), and now I am working towards my masters at Cambridge in England. I hope this website gives everyone a taste of what my life is like here... and if nothing else I think you will find it fun and entertaining!!

First Superhall of Lent Term
Tonight was the first superhall of the Lent Term (hehe that's what the second term at Cambridge is called... yah yah yah.... keep laughing... it is HILARIOUS!!). Shoop had a whole entourage with her tonight from her lab, and a bunch of other people brought lots of guests... it was almost like a guest night. I did have an excellent time meeting a bunch of Shoop's engineer friends. So even though I am super duper behind and should REALLLY still be posting pictures from when I was in America... or even from cookie baking... I am posting these first... but with the promise of extra super delayed photos to be posted ASAP!!!
Shoop with Peter's girlfriend.... she isn't an engineer.... AWESOME meeting a non-engineer every now and then hehe!!!
Tatyana and Helen.... hey Helen... I forgot to ask, but why do you have a bruise on your arm?? Hope you feel better!!!
Me waiting in suspense praying for good food... but what was I thinking... it is HALL food!!
Brian challenged me to see who could take more photos in a night... but just so you know Brian... I haven't posted ALLLLL of my photos, just the ones I thought were good and not redundant hehehehe so I think I won!!! hehe if anyone cares for proof I can send you all of the other photos.

Peter... very interesting guy... first Brit that I have found that can do an amazingly good American accent... although he spent quite some time in America doing army stuff... haha strange, yah?

See that TINY itty bitty sliver of dessert missing... that is all Shoop ate haha. Do you like what they called a "triple chocolate brownie"?? It looks and tastes an awful lot like chocolate mousse hehe.
Down on the other side of the table we have Ramsees, Stephanie and Dani.
I still don't know how Peter got us all to fit in one photo... but amazing what moving chairs and squeezing together can do!!

This is one of your last chances to see Dan before he shaves his head for charity... so everyone go donate money to help the Tsunami people if you want to see Dan with no hair... personally I don't want any of them to shave their heads... but maybe its just me.
Notice how I have my coat on... it is because I kept planning to leave... I didn't manage to pull away until midnight, but that was still super early for a friday night... but my head was KILLING.

YAAAY Welcome Steve!!! He is brand new to Churchill (he just came about 2 weeks ago)... so everyone make sure to make him feel welcome. He is really nice and is in the U.S. Navy... so nothing else has to be said!!
