The Life of Diana

Originally last night's super hall at Churchill was going to have a movie theme, but it was changed to fiesta night because rumor had it that our guests were not going to dress up as charcters from movies.  We had three birthday parties last night, plus we had Emmanuel College and Jesus College over, so we had tons of fun meeting new people.  But anyway back to my story, as it turns out, Jesus and Emma people really were going to dress up and even had super cool costumes all planned out, like ghostbusters, laura croft from tomb raider, and lots of fabulous ideas.  Fiesta night was definitely a success and I am pretty sure everyone had a wonderful time.

Two fabulous Churchillians and a guy from Jesus... I believe his name was Christian... so I will put in the disclaimer right now: if I forgot or get anyone's name wrong in this post, I am terribly sorry, just correct me and I will update the post!!

Happy Birthday Tom!!! It was so nice seeing lots of people from my lab at super hall!! And Tom... you have to tell me the story behind the tractor.

So I really think something looked different about David last night... if anyone can pinpoint what it is, I will give you a surprise hehe.

Here are some guys that really know how to dance!!! The Pav was so fun, I am so glad that all of you could stay!!

This photo proves that there are a ton of (what I call) "underground Churchillians"... these are people that are theoretically in the Churchill MCR, but they never come hang out with us so we never get to meet you... so here is my plea... if any of you know of any of these underground Churchillians... bring them to the MCR bar and it is my promise, that if I am there, I will make sure they have a fun time and come back YAAY!!!!

Me, Helen and Tatyana... hehe I am sloooowly making my way over to the Jesus and Emma side of the room to try and get them to mingle with the Churchillians.

Lots of JCR people were dressed up in togas... or just naked in underwear (hehe translate that as pants for the Brits)... so here are a couple examples.

I must say that I am SOOO impressed with our visitors for dressing up even with the super difficult theme of fiesta night... I mean check out that shirt!!  LOVE IT!!!

We are just having waaay too much fun!!!

We were soooo sad when the Pav was over... so we went up to the MCR bar... which the Porter had just shut down and told us to stop making so much noise... so it looks like the party was over.... so sad :(

So now they have moved past downing glasses of wine, and now they down bottles of wine... that CANNOT be good for you guys!!!

So now it is 3 am-ish and Alex and I saw Shoop home... but we ended up sitting in her kitchen for a loooong time... and we were so loud we woke up poor David... sorry David :( ... so here is me, with david hiding in the background and Alex's eyes peeping through.

hahaha and at last we have a picture of Alex in Shoop's kitchen.... we will have no more hidding!!!
