The Life of Diana

I forgot to tell all of you another great story from Pembroke formal hall. They are very strict there about everything. And we saw this very stern looking lady come in and scold a boy at another table and made him leave the dining hall. Mark was determined to figure out what had happened. So when the guy returned after dinner, Mark went over to talk to him and come running back saying, "He got in trouble for eating his pudding with his hands!!!".... and I am sitting there thinking, hmmm I don't remember having pudding for dinner... why did his table get different dessert?? So I decided to ask Mark what we had tonight that was considered pudding. hehehe he starts looking at me like I'm crazy... and said, "You don't know what pudding is???"... and I said, "Well in America pudding is JELLO pudding... a jiggly thick liquidish type of dessert"... hehe how do you describe pudding to someone??? So he starts laughing hysterically, and said, "Nooo, pudding is just another word for dessert!!". So there you go... next time someone says the word pudding, they might just be refering to any type of dessert, including coffee orange gateaux!!
